Spring Forward to Action Week 3, Day 1: Where Are We?

Has it really been two full weeks since we got started? I’m thinking it’s time for a change. I’ve said from the get go that this year’s Spring Forward to Action program is about building endurance and regaining my personal strength. Since my surgery in February, my energy levels flag pretty quickly and it’s important to me to get back that level of energy once more. So What I Am Doing? Memberships: Why is it so Hard to Cancel Them?

The frustrating part about becoming a member somewhere is that when you want to leave – it’s a lot harder than it was to join. In fact, sometimes it’s nearly impossible. I’ve had memberships where you were required to fax in a letter stating you were terminating the membership and then you would have to give them thirty days in which to process this termination – if you got billed in the intervening 30 days – oh well. Our Companies Are Starting to Sound Like Our Mothers

When I worked in the corporate arena – okay, the IT field – not so much corporate as it was still an office atmosphere, I enjoyed the fact that there was a gym on site.
