Breaking Out of An Exercise Plateau

Are you stuck? An exercise plateau is something no one wants to be stuck in, because when you are – it doesn’t matter how regularly you exercise, you aren’t seeing any results. We’ve all gone through it at some point or another – a plateau is usually hit when you’re working towards a weight loss or endurance goal. You lose a few pounds and you’re feeling good about your workout. You keep working out the same way and you lose a few more pounds and then nothing – no matter how regularly you work out, you lose nothing. This can … Continue reading

Excuses, Exercise & Excitement

When you talk about exercise, chances are you think more in terms of excuses than you do in terms of excitement. For example, you’re more likely to say: I’d work out more if I had more time than you are to say: I can’t wait to get on the treadmill and go for three miles – it’s the best time ever Excuses Excuses are a lot easier to come by. We can come up with a dozen excuses for why we don’t do anything. I didn’t do the dishes last night before bed because I was tired. I didn’t do … Continue reading
