by Michele Cheplic

21 Oct 2008 03:00 PM

When I first started a workout routine that included weightlifting and running (nearly 20 years ago) I kept a journal to keep track of what exercises I was supposed to do on a particular day. After a while my routine became second nature and I stopped journaling.

The more you sleep, the better you feel - that sounds reasonable, right? Sometimes though, you can sleep too much. If you are low on energy and you don't eat well, chances are you sleep long hours and you sleep very hard. In today's fitness journal, I want to share a story with you.

Part of the goal of this fitness journal is to explore the ways you can document your own fitness. Sometimes we focus just on the workout, other times we focus on what motivated us and today, we're going to focus on the obstacles in our path to getting where we want to be.

Fitness Journal - Today's Workout

Fitness Journal - Yourself!Fitness

Okay, this is a bit weird and a different step from usual - I pulled out my copy of Yourself!Fitness for the Xbox. I used this workout 'game' for many months, but stopped about six or seven months ago because - well frankly I was bored with it.

Fitness Journal - Power Mowing and All that Jazz

by Heather Long

Late yesterday, I was looking at our yard because the grass over 4 inches in some places (the amount of rain this year has really encouraged the grass growth) and my husband has a raging head cold - poor thing really sounds horrible.

by Heather Long

16 Jul 2007 01:29 PM

Welcome back to my personal fitness journal and I hope you had a great weekend. One of my primary goals is to demonstrate how you can incorporate fitness into your every day lifestyle whether you have kids, you work out of your house or you work in an office.
