I keep hearing about the latest fitness craze, Zumba. In fact, I have a few Facebook friends who will post status updates about how much fun they had in their Zumba class. One status yesterday read, "My Zumba class got canceled," followed with a sad face.

If you've read some of my blogs, you will notice that I am a big fan of taking workout classes at community colleges. While my spinning (indoor cycling) class comes to an end tomorrow, I was thinking about how I really enjoy taking classes at my community college.

I was so excited about three weeks ago when I received in the mail two free copies of "Made to Crave" by Lysa TerKeurst, president of Proverbs 31 Ministries. I was eager to read the book and provide a review since Lysa TerKeurst also happens to be one of my favorite authors.

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I was excited about a new fitness trend, Bollywood-style aerobics. In my enthusiasm for East Indian culture, I hadn't really considered the whole aerobics thing. You see, it has never been my forte.

Fitness bootcamp is military-style fitness.

I had the pleasure of participating in a conference call yesterday with Pete Thomas who appeared on season two of the "Biggest Loser." Pete Thomas is part of the Healthy Wage national weight loss competition where teams of 5 can participate in a challenge called Matchup.
