There’s no doubt about it — walking is good for you. Want to make it even better? Try these tips. Make sure your walking music is safe. Keep the volume at a reasonable level. Make sure you can still hear traffic if you’re walking outside. Look for a headphone that sits in front of the ear, rather than inside it to protect your hearing. Count your steps. Fitness Journal – Stressing Your Pedometer

Good evening, sorry for the lateness of the hour, but I wanted to get this journal entry in before I went to bed. Today was another run to get things done both around the house and in the yard. I’m having oral surgery on Friday to extract the painful wisdom tooth and it’s next door neighbor that’s been infected for a while now. Walking is a great form of exercise at just about any age! A study from Japan — recently published by the Mayo Clinic — reports that walking is especially good for elderly adults. The elderly population is growing rapidly in many countries around the world.
