by Heather Long | More from this Blogger
I like to find some new, inspiring nugget to live by every day. I enjoy my calendars that are filled with little pearls of wisdom and quotes. In that vein, here are a few tips to inspire your personal fitness and to keep working on your exercise program. I hope they help.
Take the Time
Whether you are giving directions to a stranger or sitting down for extra hours to help your child master a reading skill, take the time to do it. It's important to discover how to lend your head, your mind, your ear and your help to others because it makes you feel good about yourself and teaches you how to stay devoted even when you think you are rushing.
Eat Lots of Fruits and Vegetables
There are many studies that support eating five servings of fruits and vegetables daily. By doing so you can reduce your risk of heart disease and cancer. There were studies that showed eating six servings a week of green leafy vegetables like spinach actually reduced chances of ovarian cancer by 50%. Good thing that I love spinach.
Optimism - it's a Good Philosophy
Practice seeing the glass is half-full. A positive and optimistic attitude begs others to be positive and optimistic. It generates a good mood for you and a good mood for those around you. It keeps you motivated and keeps you on track.
A Healthy Mind Resides in a Healthy Body
Daily workouts help to put you in a better headspace. It helps to keep you positive. It keeps you on track and it promotes a feeling of goodwill that keeps on giving. Regular workouts are also mentally stimulating and you can think more clearly - even when you are stressed.
What fitness tips can you offer to help keep people motivated and on track?
