The kids are back in school, the temperatures are falling and you just debuted a new fitness routine to maximize the changing seasons, right? No? Don't worry; you aren't alone. If your intentions are worthy, but your motivation level has flat lined then the following blogs might serve as welcome incentive.
September 2nd---Pledging to Exercise More When you Pig Out. The next time you feel like gorging on that third slice of pie or take that fourth helping of bread pudding consider the information provided in this blog.
September 3rd---Preparing for Fall Workouts. Consider the following tips before you gear up to workout in the great outdoors this fall.
September 4th---Creating a Challenging Workout Routine. In this blog I shared my personal fall (and winter) fitness goal---train for a marathon. It will be my fourth race, but first since giving birth to my daughter. I am looking forward to the challenge, but am dreading the early morning runs in the bitter cold. Still, my exercise routine was in desperate need of a makeover and this is the best way I could help resurrect it. It will be a challenge, but it will be well worth it in the end.
September 5th---Kids and Fitness-One Sport or Many? It's a question I pondered recently when enrolling my 4-year-old in her favorite sport--soccer. She loves playing soccer, but she also enjoys tumbling, swimming, golfing, and shooting hoops. So do I sign her up for a single sport at an early age, which can lead to advanced skill level and potentially a college scholarship or do I enroll her in several different classes to expose her to a variety of activities? If you are struggling to answer the same question this blog might help you formalize a solid answer.
September 6th---New York Ramping Up Fitness for School Kids. A new program designed to cut down on the number of students suffering from childhood obesity is raising eyebrows in New York. Find out why in this blog.
