Fitness questions are something we all have, whether you are asking about how to do an exercise or how to get into shape or how many exercises to do. Questions are a great way to teach and to learn. How else do you figure out what to do and when to do it? How else do you get the information you need? You ask questions or you listen as someone else answers a question that you may not have thought to ask.

Who Best to Ask the Questions To?

Asking questions may not be the problem, figuring out where to get the answers to your questions may be. So let's take a look at a list of sources where you can ask your questions or at least find the answers to your questions:

  • The Fitness Blog - That's what we're here for. We explore fitness in all of its aspects and do our best to deliver the information to you that we can. We also have a feature called Dear Heather designed to let you ask your own specific questions and I'll do my best to find the answers you need
  • Personal Trainer - Personal trainers are fantastic resources for information, how to's and more. They provide you with a great deal more than just a guide to doing the exercises; they give you motivation and the reasons behind them
  • Your Physician - Your doctor is another great resource that shouldn't be discounted because he can answer questions about specific health related issues as well as refer you to other resources
  • Fitness magazines and books - there's one out there for just about every subject whether it's Fitness for Dummies or Exercising for Dummies or something else, so check out the fitness section in your bookstore or local library

Your friends may be a great resource, but be certain when you are asking questions about technique and form that you get the answers from the correct source and not one that's guessing at it. Where do you get the answers to your fitness questions?
